Your billable expertise, buried in unbillable work
OneBody helps law firms, accounting firms, and real-estate offices in North Alabama automate intake, billing, and document work — and puts a verification step between your closings and wire fraud. Fixed fees, no enterprise software required.
Law: the utilization gap has a price
Clio’s Legal Trends data shows larger firms log utilization 10–15 points higher than solo and small firms — the difference is mostly admin. The same research found firms that accept online payments get paid in a median of 6 days versus 14 without. And per Clio’s 2025 report, 79% of legal professionals now use AI while adoption of legal-specific tools fell to 40% — interest is high, working implementation is rare. Growing firms lean on automation about twice as much as stable firms, and grew revenue four times faster than headcount.
Accounting: ten apps deep and losing hours
The Intuit QuickBooks Accountant Technology Survey found the average firm now juggles about 10 different apps — up from 8 a year earlier — with subscription cost (44%), integration (41%), and manual data entry (41%) the top pains, and 66% of accountants feeling overwhelmed at least weekly. Compliance eats 62% of the workload; 89% say their tools need better integration to support growth. That integration is buildable.
Real estate: the $956,342 email
In one case from the FBI’s 2024 Internet Crime Report, homebuyers wired $956,342 after a spoofed email posing as their agent — the FBI clawed back $955,060, a luckier ending than most. BEC losses hit $3.05 billion in 2025, yet NAR’s 2025 Technology Survey found only 19% of Realtors use any cybersecurity tools. For property managers the pain is volume: Buildium’s 2026 report found 56% of owners hire a PM mainly for maintenance help, AI use nearly tripled to 58% in a year — and only 8% have fully automated any process.

Frequently asked questions
Our files are privileged / confidential. How does that work?
We design and connect the workflows; we don't need to read your matters or client files to do it. Access is scoped to the minimum, we sign your NDA or confidentiality terms, and anything touching regulated data is flagged for your review before it moves.
What does wire-fraud protection actually look like?
Boring and effective: email authentication on your domain, a mandatory call-back-at-a-known-number step before any payment detail changes, and staff who've seen the real spoofed emails in training. The FBI's Recovery Asset Team exists — but prevention beats clawback.
We're a four-person office. Is this overkill?
The fit test is simple: if manual work costs you more per year than the assessment fee, it pays for itself. If it doesn't, we say so on the first call — and the report always includes fixes you can do yourself.
