ONEBODY INNOVATION

Service area

Where we work, and how far we'll drive

OneBody works from Jackson County, Alabama, and serves four counties directly: Jackson, DeKalb, Marshall, and Madison. That is Scottsboro, Fort Payne, Guntersville, and Huntsville, plus the towns between them. Assessments and cutover work happen on-site. Monitoring, help desk, and most build work happen remotely. Anywhere in that radius, a person can be at your building the same week.

Four counties, four different economies

Jackson County has an industrial base of more than 80 companies against a civilian labor force of 21,034. DeKalb runs more than 135 manufacturing operations against 31,256. Marshall has more than 150 companies against 42,034. Madison County holds Redstone Arsenal and Cummings Research Park. Those figures come from the North Alabama Industrial Development Association’s county profiles. Same drive-time radius, four economies that fail in different ways.

Drive time is the honest version of “local”

Every town on this page is inside about an hour of the Jackson County base. Scottsboro is the closest at roughly 15 minutes; Fort Payne, Guntersville, and Huntsville each run about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the route. Plenty of firms will claim a service area they have never driven. This one is a radius someone actually covers in a truck.

What happens on-site, and what doesn't

On-site: the assessment walkthrough, network and server work that needs hands on hardware, cutover days, and training. Remote: monitoring, patching, help desk, most automation build work, and every status call. The split is not about convenience. Billing travel for work that runs fine over a screen share is a way to pad an invoice, and it is the first thing a small business should ask a vendor about.

Why a Jackson County base is the point

Huntsville is where the defense primes are. Jackson, DeKalb, and Marshall are where a lot of their suppliers are — machine shops, fabricators, food processors, and distribution centers that receive the flow-down requirements without the flow-down budget. Sitting in the supplier counties rather than the prime county means the drive to a 20-person shop is under an hour, not a day trip. That is the market this business was built for.

The base

Jackson County, Alabama. On-site days are scheduled in advance, not improvised, and the schedule is part of the written scope.

Frequently asked questions

We're outside these four counties. Can you still help?

Yes, for remote work — monitoring, help desk, automation builds, and advisory work don't care where you are. Anything that needs someone on-site gets an honest answer about travel before you get a quote, and whatever is agreed goes in the written scope.

Do you have an office we can visit?

No storefront. OneBody is a service-area business run from Jackson County, Alabama — meetings happen at your building or over video. That is deliberate: an office in Huntsville would show up in your invoice and would not make the work better.

How fast can someone get here?

Same week for scheduled work anywhere on this page. For managed IT clients, response times are set in the service agreement — real commitments belong in a signed document, not on a web page.

Want to know what your county's paperwork is costing you?

The assessment answers that in two weeks, for a fixed fee.
